On October 2, 2025, in Hanoi, under the authorization of the leadership of the Ministry of Construction, Mr. Le Trung Thanh, Director of the Department of Science, Technology, Environment and Building Materials, chaired a meeting with relevant parties to prepare the content for the series of activities under the Vietnam Green Building and Green Transport Week 2025.
At the meeting, a representative of IEC Consulting – the company co-organizing the event stated that the Vietnam Green Building and Green Transport Week 2025, with the theme “Innovation and Creativity: Promoting Sustainable Green Buildings and Green Transport,” will officially open on October 29, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City.
The event will include a plenary session and four thematic seminars, attracting over 1000 delegates from government, organizations and businesses.

Overview of working session.
The exhibition will take place with over 30 leading enterprises showcasing advanced technologies, materials, and equipment for green construction; green and eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient devices, green transport solutions and efficient building management models. The event also aims to connect developers, consultants, designers, investors, and operators, thereby creating practical cooperation opportunities and contributing to shaping the future development of the country's construction industry.
As part of the event, several activities will be taken place, including the presentation of the “2025 Green Architecture Student Award”; site visits to the Panasonic factory, Tan Cang – Cat Lai Port and Daikin Vietnam’s exemplary green office. On October 16th in Hanoi, a seminar with theme “Solutions to Promote Green Buildings and Green Transport Towards Sustainable Development Goals” will be held.
At the meeting, delegates exchanged ideas, dicussed, proposed, commented and agreed on the topics of the presentations as well as the content of the series of activities within the framework of the Vietnam Green Building and Green Transport Week 2025.
In conclusion, Director Le Trung Thanh emphasized the significance of the Vietnam Green Building and Green Transport Week 2025. He also asked relevant units to continually follow the directives of the Ministry of Construction’s leadership, focusing on the implementation and successful completion of the assigned tasks, thereby ensuring the event’s success in accordance with the objectives and plans.
