On December 29^th, 2025, in Hanoi, the Deputy Minister of Construction, Nguyen Danh Huy, met and worked with the Deputy Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan (MLIT) Sasaki Hajime. Leaders from several units of the Ministry of Construction and experts from MLIT attended the meeting to exchange views and promote bilateral cooperation in the fields of construction, transport, urban development, and technical infrastructure.

In the vibrant atmosphere of nationwide emulation activities celebrating the groundbreaking, inauguration, and technical opening of key projects and works towards the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, on December 19^th, 2025, in Ninh Binh Province, VICEM Tam Diep Cement Company (under the Vietnam Cement Corporation - VICEM) solemnly held the inauguration ceremony of the Waste Heat Recovery Power Generation Project at the Tam Diep Cement Plant.

In implementing key tasks in the fields of innovation, national digital transformation, and the development of e-Government and Digital Government in 2025, the Ministry of Construction has focused on synchronously carrying out tasks in line with the Government’s orientation and has achieved significant results, creating a foundation for modernizing state management in the construction and transport sectors. According to statistics from the Government’s monitoring system, the Ministry of Construction has completed 100% of the tasks assigned by the Government in 2025 related to the development of e-Government and digital transformation.

The Ministry of Construction held a ceremony to announce the operation of the National Database on Construction Activities and key digital systems and platforms of the industry on December 21^st.

Deputy Minister of Construction Pham Minh Ha has paid on-site visit Long Thanh International Airport to inspect and review all preparations for the inauguration ceremony of the project components and the launch of the first flight landing at the airport, on December 18th.

Deputy Minister of Construction Le Anh Tuan attended and delivered a speech at the seminar. The event was attended by many leading transportation companies that have made significant contributions to the breakthrough in expressway investment in Vietnam.

According to the 2026 Administrative Reform Plan, the Ministry of Construction aims to ensure that 100% of administrative procedures related to businesses are carried out online, smoothly, and seamlessly, minimizing paperwork.

According to the assessment results on the National Public Service Portal, the Ministry of Construction consistently ranked first among ministries and agencies in terms of the quality of public service delivery in 2025. The satisfaction level of citizens and businesses when using public services at the Ministry is 93.3%.

On December 21^st, the Ministry of Construction is expected to announce the launch of the National Database on Construction Activities, the National Smart City Portal, and nine specialized databases.

With the approval of the Ministry of Construction, the People’s Committee of Quang Ngai Province, and in the spirit of the nationwide enthusiastic emulation to celebrate the 14^th National Party Congress, on December 16th, 2025, the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUD) held the groundbreaking ceremony for the HUD - Phu My Social Housing Project (Phase 1), part of the Phu My New Urban Area in Cam Thanh Ward and An Phu Commune, Quang Ngai Province.

On December 16^th, a working delegation from the Ministry of Construction, led by Deputy Minister Pham Minh Ha, inspected the site and urged units to continue their efforts to complete the remaining construction items as well as finalize procedures to put the main route into operation on December 19th for the component projects of the Can Tho-Hau Giang section and the Hau Giang - Ca Mau section (Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway) under the North-South Expressway Eastern Section project for the 2021-2025 period.
